What CNC Turning capabilities do you have?
We have four mazak machines (2 off QT15, 1 off QT18 and 1 off Nexus200) some with bar feed.
What is EDM?
The machining of metal by an electrical discharge machine using an electrode or continuous thin wire feed to erode the material.
What machines do you have for EDM?
We have x 3 Hurco machines – the 425E Spark Eroder + 900 M Spark Eroderand x 3 Mitsubishi machines – the EA8 CNC Eroder + FA 10 CNC 4 Axis Wire Eroder.
What is meant by Fixtures?
Devices and assemblies to locate and hold production parts for machining or assembly. Fixtures can be bespokely made for an exact task in small runs if required.
What types of Grinding can you achieve?
CNC, Universal, Surface and Jig Grinding.

Hardened steels, Stainless Steels, Titanium and other difficult materials.
What is Injection Tool Manufacture?
Complete multi component tools can be manufactured and assembled to food and hygiene standards up to a maximum weight of 2 tonnes.

CNC multi axis: mills, lathes, E.D.M. and grinding machines.
Can you achieve Mould Tryout?
Yes, we have a Meiki M200B-DM Injection Moulding Machine (200 tonnes).
What is Jig Boring?
Precision positioning of small holes and larger bores on any number of predetermined positions.
What machines do you have for Jig Boring?
We have x 2 Newell Type 1520 and x 1 Newell Type 2030 with tilting rotary table.
What is Jig Grinding?
Precision grinding and positioning of small holes and larger bores, usually in hardened materials; also corner quadrants and tapers.
What materials can you Mill?
Tool Steels, Stainless steels, Aerospace alloys, plastics, Copper, Brass, Wood, MDF, and most exotic materials.
What capacity do you have for Tool Making?
We have six toolmakers on site with a dedicated area fitted with an overhead craning facility.
What machines do you have for Jig Grinding?
x1 Hauser Type 3SM.

What is Mill Turning?
A combination machine based on a lathe format with multi axes driven tooling to enable turned parts to be milled/drilled to completion.

1 off Mazak Integrex 300Y with bar feed.

We can achieve Vertical Milling with 3, 4 & 5 axis capabilities.

CNC Milling is covered by x 1 Hermle C20 5 Axis M/C Centre with 17 other machines ranging from the Bridgeport series 2 Interact 4 through the Bridgeport machining centre range of: 560, 600, 720, 760/20, 800 and 1000/20 and 2 Mazak Nexus 510C’s several machines have a 4th Axis Rotary Table.
